Pilot Mark Winston is handsome, stalwart and true. Millions of women have gone dreamy over him - including his creator, novelist Kit Madden (Claudette Colbert), who´s heading to Hollywood to turn her best-seller into a film. On the train she meets a real-life Marine pilot (John Wayne). Kit thinks he´s the perfect man to portray her screen hero... if only he didn´t think Mark and her book were "a lot of hooey."

Colbert and Wayne are a double delight in this playful, pratfalling comedy, whether they´re huddling in a lower berth, cuddling in a haystack or "piloting" the train´s club car into the wild blue yonder, fueled by a little too much vino.
