A mysterious "Ghost Writer" working for a monster fanzine asks three New Yorkers what really scares them. His candidates include an attorney with visions of being captured by gang members, a college girl with re-occurring dreams of being attacked in her underwear and a computer programmer with fears, since childhood, of a monster hiding under his bed. All are thrilled to be picked, but are unaware of the terrifying things about to happen to them after the article is published. Will they be frightened to death? Who is "Ghost Writer?"
