When a suspected bio-terrorist attack contaminates L.A.´s water supply, the city´s population is cast into turmoil. A Sikh store owner and her son become victims of a hate crime after gouging the price of water during the shortage. Two college students attempt to flee the increasingly chaotic atmosphere on a journey that pushes them to the limits of their friendship.
