Force Recon Marine Cruz Manuelos (Laysla de Oliveira) was recruited into the branch's "Lioness" program, and tasked with gaining access to a terrorist target by befriending his adult daughter Aaliyah Amrohi (Stephanie Nur). To the consternation of CIA handler Joe McNamara (Zoe Saldaña) and her higher-up Kaitlyn Meade (Nicole Kidman), Cruz found the bonds growing too deep.
