Elliot (Peter Scolari) and Tracy (Colleen Camp) take on running the hotel with gusto - and get to know the hotels slightly eccentric guests: a survivalist in the boiler room, a residential hooker, rock-n-roll singing maids, and a visitor from another planet who films everyones activities so he can show them to the folks back home. Their efforts to revitalize the Rosebud Beach works so well that a larger hotel chain is sending a buyer down to make an offer - just as daddys unscrupulous friend lights the match!
