Rodin

Vincent Lindon offers a magnetic effort as the driven Parisian sculptor in this absorbing biopic that follows Auguste Rodin in the era following his first popular recognition, as he embarked on a generations-long journey to deliver his commission for "The Gates of Hell." His struggles with other controversial projects in the interim-and the arc of his turbulent liaison with protégé Camille Claudel (Izïa Higelin)-are tellingly recounted.
