Quo Vadis
A great romance within a historical epic, set in the times of the Roman Emperor, Nero. The film is based on a Polish block-buster classic novel under the same title. The story follows the vicissitudes of love between a young Roman Patrician and a beautiful Christian, daughter of a barbarian commander killed in battle, set against the historical background: The downfall le Nero’s tyranny, the great fire in Rome, and the persecutions of the early Christians.
