Paris Police 1900

In 1899, a suitcase floating in the Seine was discovered to contain a woman's dismembered corpse, and ambitious Paris cop Antoine Jouin (Jérémie Laheurte) relished the assignment. His investigation would bring him into the orbit of figures like ex-commissioner Louis Lépine (Marc Barbé), pioneering lawyer Jeanne Chauvin (Eugénie Derouand), and courtesan Marguerite Steinheil (Évelyne Brochu)-and toward a coup against the Republic.
