Based on the play "Looking for Normal," this deeply moving drama stars Tom Wilkinson as a small-town man who blacks out on his 25th wedding anniversary and wakes up determined to get a sex change operation. Both Wilkinson and Jessica Lange, who plays his wife, deliver powerful, heartbreaking, and ultimately inspiring performances in this delicate story of a man trying to live a normal life as a woman. "Normal" (2003) was written and directed by the original stage play's scribe, Jane Anderson.
