A murderous gourmet comedy with a bite

An on-the-run thief has stumbled into the flat of Flo (Julia Blake - The Starter Wife, Salem’s Lot) and Minnie (Lynette Curran - Love My Way, Japanese Story), demanding refuge from pursuing cops. His only problem is the flatfoot on his trail (Simon Chilvers - Changi, The Farm) who has unknowingly taken up lodgings in the next room.

Complications further abound when a gas leak in the fugitive’s room leaves his dead body to be discovered by Flo and Minnie in the morning. With a larcenous history of their own, the women will do everything in their power to keep the death of a harboured criminal under wraps from a veteran sergeant-in-residence… and they will do absolutely anything to hide the body.

A scandalous, dark comedy, Mushrooms is the meal for any movie-lover’s palate that will leave you hungry for seconds.
