Back in the 1950s, all that Arizona mom Laura (Christina Ricci) wanted was distance from her abusive ex for her and their 7-year-old son Cody (Santino Barnard)... and the pleasant-looking California lake house seemed to be the answer. Unfortunately, their steps would be dogged by a persistent and angry father-as well as a more unearthly menace from the nearby waters.
