Man With A Video Camera

This documentary chronicles the experiences of Esko Lönnberg, a middle-class worker based in Sweden who ventures back to his hometown of Pori, Finland and sets about shooting a film on his favorite rock band, Circle. The conditions are tumultuous, and initially, Lönnberg is uncertain if hes making a documentary or a fiction film. But a sense of very real friendship and bonding unifies all of the participants, and the production experience itself is an immensely rewarding one for all concerned. MAN WITH A VIDEO CAMERA also meditates, more broadly, on the nature of personal choices that one makes, and how those can define and determine the direction of ones life.
