Kiss Before The Mirror

After doctor Walter Bernsdorf (Paul Lukas) slays his unfaithful wife (Gloria Stuart) in a fit of jealous rage, his best friend and attorney Paul Held (Frank Morgan) promises to do all he can to spare him from the gallows. As he crafts a temporary insanity defense, the counselor starts perceiving echoes of the dead womans behavior in his own spouse (Nancy Carroll)...and his snowballing suspicions might foment another tragedy.
