A story about love at first sight.

If romance were like skydiving, Paula would make sure to get it right the first time. Instead, she again falls without a chute for an actor, only to be dumped when his career break comes. What’s more, Paula´s latest flameout leaves her an unwelcome parting gift: he sublets the apartment they share to another actor!

Writer Neil Simon provides his trademark wit and charm and Richard Benjamin (My Favorite Year) directs this remake of Simon´s The Goodbye Girl. Patricia Heaton (Everybody Loves Raymond) plays Paula, mother of a 10-year-old (Hallie Kate Eisenberg) and a victim of Cupids´ misfirings. Jeff Daniels (Dumb & Dumber) is the actor who shares Paula´s home...and starts hoping there´s room in her heart. Simon says enjoy!
