Fighting Seabees

Sprawling, action-packed saga with John Wayne as Lt. Cmdr. Wedge Donovan, the head of a construction company working at building military sites for the Navy in the Pacific during World War II. After suffering the loss of many men after a Japanese attack, Donovan heads to Washington and helps establish the "C.B.s" (Construction Battalions), units of armed builders. (1944)
