Civil War Life - Left For Dead
Based on the diary of Oscar Jackson 63rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry…
The story of an Ohio schoolteacher who formed his own company and was engaged in some of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War -- only to be shot in the face and left for dead. Based on a true story from "The Colonel´s Diary". Learn how a common soldier rose through the ranks to join Sherman in the burning of Atlanta and through the great march to the sea, all with the bullet from that fateful day still lodged beneath his eye.
Includes "The Making Of Left For Dead", a special 25-minute documentary featuring interviews with the writers Michael Kraus and David Neville. Also features behind-the-scenes footage, outtakes and unused footage to give a comprehensive look at how Left For Dead was made.
Featuring Civil War historian Michael Kraus, the Military Coordinator for the film Gettysburg and the Northern Commander of many of the Civil War 125th Anniversary reenactments.
