Researching alone in the Southern California desert, botanist Elly (Lucy Hale) would regret being the good Samaritan when she raced to the crash site of a light plane. Turns out the injured pilot (Leynar Gomez) is an armed drug mule, who orders a lift to his Salton Sea drop point. Between his impatient and dangerous contact (Jorge A.
