Blood Rose

Lemaire plays a famed artist who lives in a crumbling old castle. In a confrontation with one of his past girlfriends, his beautiful young wife is burned almost beyond recognition. Now a horribly scarred monstrosity, she begs him for a new face. The answer comes in the form of Howard Vernon, who plays a defamed plastic surgeon and now operates on criminals on the sly. When threatened with blackmail, Vernon agrees to restore her face, but it means the killing of the donor. (1970)
