Beautiful Stranger ( 1992 )

A Russian lieutenant impresses his superiors by standing up to Rasputin - the Mad Monk himself. He is rewarded with a mission to carry vital documents to Stockholm, but en route he falls in love with a spy, known only as Beautiful Stranger. The knowledge that she is determined to steal his secret cargo at any cost forces a conflict between love and duty for the young lieutenant.

This Romantic thriller is invigorated by a stellar cast of Polish actors, including Grazyna Szapolowska (Decalogue, Pan Tadeusz) as Beautiful Stranger.
