The ever-inventive French director Christophe Honore (Love Songs, Dans Paris, Ma Mere) once again shows his versatility in this tale of adolescent lust and longing. Beautiful 16-year-old Junie (Lea Seydoux, Lea Seydoux, Mysteries of Lisbon, Inglourious Basterds) attends a new school only to find herself in love with her charming Italian teacher (Louis Garrel, Love Songs, The Dreamers) while also pursued by a fellow student (Grégoire Leprince-Ringuet). The attractions of the mysterious Junie are the centerpiece of this modern adaptation of Madame de la Fayette's classic novel The Princess of Cleves.
