Ali & Ava

Amiable, aging DJ Ali (Adeel Akhtar) had a comfortable living through his rental properties and a marriage over in all but formality. Widowed grandmom and teaching assistant Ava (Claire Rushbrook) had a home stuffed with three generations and bitter memories of her abusive spouse. A chance meet when he dropped a tenant's kid at her class leads to a hopeful if very challenged romance. (2021)
