After The Dance

Although stage hoofer Jerry Davis (George Murphy) killed a man protecting partner Mabel Kane (Thelma Todd), she wouldnt stand up for him in court...and he found himself going to jail for manslaughter. On the run in the wake of a prison riot, he finds shelter--and a new act--with dancer Anne Taylor (Nancy Carroll), but will a blackmailing Mabel wind up giving them the hook? Stage-set melodrama co-stars Jack La Rue, Arthur Hohl, Thurston Hall.
