Rabbit Is Me, The
A young woman, tainted after her brother´s arrest for subversive political activities, has an affair with an older man - who turns out to be the judge that put her brother in jail. Banned for exposing the harsh realities of East German society, Rabbit finally saw the light of day after reunification, and was praised as one of the most important German films ever, with a humor and impressive style that brings it far beyond the political.
