This new portrait of Prince William, future King of England and one of the most eligible young men in the world, builds up a fascinating picture of an extraordinary individual.
Inheriting the good looks of his mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, Prince William is in character close to his father, Prince Charles. Now that the tragic death of his mother seems a long time ago, his life has settled, Prince William is going to university, surrounded by beautiful young women and seems very much at home in the world, if not with the world´s press, whom he still barely tolerates.
The program shows Prince William´s life with his parents, the touching and strong bond he had with his mother, Princess Diana, and his growing confidence in recent years. We see his courage at his mother´s funeral, his life as a schoolboy at Eton, and now his emergence as an attractive and good-looking young man.
As well as an intriguing royal portrait, the program asks many questions: how does William get on with his father, his brother Harry; who are Prince William´s friends; what are his great personal interests?
How does Prince William get on with the Queen? Is he still angry at his mother´s treatment by both the press and the Royal Family? Does he still want to be King of England? Will this British royal prince have the same impact on the world that his mother Diana did?
