It´s New Year´s Eve and poor Jimmy Zoole is having a day from hell! His puppet Shakespeare play is a flop, his beautiful girlfriend has just dumped him, his beloved cat is in the hospital and his apartment has been broken into almost daily. but Jimmy takes the world by the throat when he captures a burglar in the act and decides to change from victim to boss!
Actor Steve Guttenberg´s directorial debut of comic misadventures is a hilarious, pitch-black comedy based on James Kirkwood´s cult classic novel. Guttenberg stars as the beleaguered Jimmy who finally confronts the world with sly vengeance, Lombardo Boyar ("NYPD Blue") is his unsuspecting burglar-now-hostage and the lovely Cynthia Watros ("Guiding Light" and "The Drew Carey Show") is Guttenberg´s fed-up girlfriend Kate. Snappy dialogue, great performances and twists aplenty guarantee this is one New Year´s Eve that won´t soon be forgot.
