Call of the Prairie - This features stars Gabby Hayes, Hoppy´s future sidekick, as one of the heavies, Shanghai McHenry. Meanwhile, the future looks dim for junior sidekick Johnny Nelson (Jimmy Ellison). Johnny is framed by Shanghai´s gang for the robbery and murder of the Bar-20 boss and, to make matters worse, he falls in love with a beautiful girl who happens to be Shanghai´s daughter!

Heart of the West - As cattle thief John Trumbull, veteran actor Sidney Blackmer plays one of the nastiest heavies from the Hopalong Westerns. When neighboring ranchers try to put up a fence to keep stolen cattle off their land, Trumbull angrily reacts, stampeding his herd to stop them. Hopalong comes to the rescue, exploding dynamite to reverse the stampede.
