Loosely based on a true story about the efforts of one man to bring marriageable women to the forests of the Pacific Northwest in the 1870s, this vintage comedy from the 1960s was set in a Seattle logging community. The workers are threatening to leave due to the scarcity of women, so the camp owners, the Bolt brothers (Robert Brown, Bobby Sherman, and David Soul) do the only thing they can: import 100 women from Massachusetts. The brothers pull this off only by borrowing money from their rival, Aaron Stempel (Mark Lenard), whose terms dictate that all the women have to remain for an entire year, during which all quotas must be met. If not, he takes control of the Bolt brothers´ mountain. Much mischief ensues as the girls acclimate to camp life, while Stempel does everything he can to impede that process and make them give up.
