Fenway Park - The Golden Age
This 100-year celebration has rare footage of Red Sox southpaw Babe Ruth, Jimmie Foxx and Lefty Grove. This superb documentary bridges the gap to Ted Williams, whose hitting heroics are captured in living color along with the history of Fenway Park itself, from Opening Day, 1912, through the "Impossible Dream" season of 1967. It moves to the modern era including colorful footage of the restored ball park, celebratory parades and the ample street life on Yawkey Way where today's fans congregate the day of the game. It has all the great moments and the magic that made Fenway part of baseball history! In addition to Fisk's narration, also featured are the voices of Baseball Hall of Fame Broadcasters Mel Allen, Curt Gowdy & Bob Wolff. Fenway's 100th anniversary and the celebration will awe every baseball fan.
