Detective Carlos Ibarra (Steven Bauer) investigates a puzzling series of murders. Beautiful, well dressed women are being savagely mutilated and abandoned all over the city. Estela (Yareli Arizmendi), a reporter from a crime tabloid stumbles upon a clue tying these murders. But he needs time before the news causes widespread panic, so Ibarra strikes a deal with the reporter. But despite warming up to one another, Estela cannot hold onto the scoop for long, as her new discoveries will test Ibarra´s mettle, rushing to solve the crime to save Estela´s life.
