Working in her toll booth late at night, Ji-yeon is horrified to be handed a bloody ticket by the driver of a strange black car. A co-worker then relates a spooky tale to her about a horrible accident that occurred 12 years earlier--a bloodbath that has apparently cursed their location with a tragic murder every four years.
