Hypnotherapist Dr. Michael Strother has a dangerous gift...he gets visions of the inside of his patients´ minds. While trying to helpia detective top stop smoking, he sees in her subconscious an eerie image of a young girl floating below the surface of a stream. Soon he is caught up in the detective´s pursuit of a ritualistic killer who had kidnapped a young girl, Heather.
