In the small-town world of Jefferson Creek, North Carolina, star high school quarterback Danny Shepherd (Peter Facinelli) and his buddies are the golden boys who think they can get away with anything. Living for the present, good-natured fun often turns into trouble, and responsibility looms over their approaching graduation. When their simple-minded friend Aaron commits a violent crime, the boys vow to protect him by covering up the evidence.
