Tarantulas - The Deadly Cargo

Nominated for two Emmy Awards, ´Tarantulas´ is a white-knuckle thrill-ride, full of fearsome furry arachnids and hair-raising horror. Fred (Howard Hesseman) and Buddy (Tom Atkins) fly down to South America to pick up a cargo of premium coffee beans, which they plan to turn into a huge profit back home in San Francisco. But unbeknownst to the two men, their plane is carrying some deadly stowaways in the form of a colony of deadly, gigantic tarantulas. Flying over a small California town, the pilot is attacked and killed by the tarantulas and the plane goes down in a fiery crash. The tarantulas flee the crash site unnoticed and begin to reek havoc on the townspeople. Creepy, hairy spiders are taking over, and they have infested the town´s orange plantation. Risking their lives to stave off a national epidemic, a group of renegade townspeople desperately attempt to stop the venomous vermin before it´s too late.
