Isaac (Ron Rifkin) is a headstrong book publisher who refuses to sell out by releasing anything commercial…even when his oldest son Aaron (Tony Goldwyn) discovers a surefire best-seller. Instead Isaac—a man damaged by the Holocaust—clings to the idea of publishing volumes of Nazi studies. As his stubbornness pushes their company to the brink of bankruptcy, Aaron must convince his brother (Timothy Hutton) and sister (Sarah Jessica Parker) to join him in a fight that will save the business…but may destroy their family.
