Room Upstairs

Leah Lazenby (Stockard Channing) is a prominent Boston teacher working with Mrs. Sanders (Linda Hunt), the director of a youth center, dealing with disturbed children. Though she has a way of reaching tough-to-reach children, she is distanced from others in her private life. Things change when she turns her childhood home into a boarding house residence for eclectic characters including a musician, Travis Coles (Sam Waterston), all looking for a second chance in life.
