Daryl Hall and John Oates met and began performing together in the late 1960s, linked by their shared taste in soul and R&B music. They would spend the 70s crafting their blue-eyed soul with such albums as "War Babies," "Abandoned Luncheonette" and "Bigger Than The Both of Us," before becoming one of the top selling duos of all time in the 1980s. Captured here are performances from 1976 and 1977, when "Bigger Than The Both of Us" was climbing on the charts on the strength of their first #1 single, "Rich Girl," which is featured in this program.
