Everyone wants a piece of the action.

Art imitates life in the craziest way in this action comedy where two failed newspaper writers decide to try method writing in order to create a best selling novel. Mike infiltrates the criminals, and Andy infiltrates the cops. Things heat up when a thief is killed in the back of Mike´s cab and he is introduced to the local crime boss. Meanwhile, Andy becomes a local hero and goes on patrol with the cops. But as the two become more and more involved with their respective "sides" of the law, their loyalties shift and they need to get out and back to reality - before it´s too late.
